Yes, much taller than originally proposed.

This render looks really good. I love that the balconies are internal.

The top section in that image is a lot more sharply defined compared to the bottom (more contrast, maybe?). To me that makes it feel like it's floating in mid air. Call this one Anti-Gravity or something like that.

i as well like that they are trying something a bit unique, would be nice to see some of these concepts come to life.

more contrast - the bottom is bleached a bit due to the shining lights.

Great height and greatly needed on this stretch of Main. As you move up it seems a little phoned in for the sake of getting more units in there though.. The top third could use some differentiation to taper away from the middle's bulk, maybe repeat the glass section a second time.

I actually agree with you on that.

Absolutely love this! Great design and massing. Again, some big-city design proposed here. Hopefully it gets built.

Height is 80.3 metres, or 263 feet. Looks solid

I love the black bricks.

Interesting that all of the units are 1 bedroom, some units have 1 bedroom with den. Oops! I looked further and there's some 2 and 3 bedroom units, all facing towards Walnut St.

This would fill in the gap between Landmark and First Place nicely...there aren't very many tall buildings on the east end of downtown...I am sure they will come in time...

Hopes dashed. Same precast supplier as Connaught, 220 Cannon & 149 Main West. Get ready for soviet fake brick.

I think a grey coloured precast will fare better than red. Still love the design of this build.

I like how they shortened the glass part in the middle - it no longer feels like the top is going to topple over onto me hehe..

They're building this at what I call Hamilton's gateway to crime. Anything past that dollarama towards about Sherman is riddled with low income low rise apartments full of bed bugs and druggies. I live across from one of these apartments and the cops are there almost every other day.

But, it's good to see something nice being built by that Dollarama. This means the Dollarama owner is sitting on prime land now. and maybe the lot beside the dollar store can be sold too.

I think that area over time will slowly improve, only because of how close it is to downtown.

gentrification has to start somewhere.. I mean look at lock st and ottawa st - they weren't viewed as much better back in the day..

I like the balcony at the top too - I wonder how long till someone commits suicide off one of them though..
