NEW YORK | 250 W. 55th Street | 602ft/183m | 40 Floors | 2013

This tower is a recent addition, and is prominent on the midtown skyline as viewed from the west. In my opinion, its outward simplicity is its best characteristic. NYC may have a lot of "box" towers, but not many of them are like this one.

A beautiful, underrated minimalist tower. Pity it's not 100 feet taller.

interesting how it catches the sunlight while showing a refection of the Hearst Tower. Great shot by the photographer capturing this.

It should have been 700' to the roof at least and also there's nothing bad or exceptional about this building. Just your typical anonymous cost savings box in the West side.

Nice neo-Miesian piece of architecture! I love how the sun reflects on the fins.
Another gem by SOM.
