Me doing the entire 11km of Boulevard St Laurent (the main) from the old port to the north end. It took me about 26 minutes.

At 4:42, some guy got hit by a car on the left side. You can barely see it because of the time lapse though.

New Classified video filmed around HRM...the heritage minute parodies had me cracking up.

Video Link

Driving video: Halifax is a peninsula, and the Macdonald Bridge was the first suspension bridge linking it to Dartmouth. Also covers Barrington Street and Spring Garden Road (two main streets).

Video Link

Mackay Bridge at night (slow video but still neat). The other bridge has a reversible lane to work with rush hour demand, but the Mackay is busy in both directions: downtown Halifax employees return home to Dartmouth, while those who work in the Burnside Industrial Park (in Dartmouth) head home to Halifax or Clayton Park.

my accent, its canadian. I say Tur/an/uh, thats the way we say it here. Like we mentioned in another thread, only people from outside of town do the full pronounciation.

I know I'll get bitch-slapped for this, but here goes...

That is the "Working Class Canadian" pronunciation of Toronto. The same familiar dialect you hear at any local hockey arena. Yes, it is the preferred choice of the masses, but not the only pronunciation Torontonians say.

Great vids Cal.

According to pronouncenames.com Guerlain the French perfume and cosmetics company is pronounced:

gair-lan

Keep up the good work.

I missed IGLOOFEST this year! I was all set, bought my 9-day Igloopass, then had to go to London for a family funeral the day after it began. I contracted the Norwalk virus after the funeral and couldn't return until the day after it ended!

Anyhow, these are from my favourite night last year:

The 'official' video from that night. The Housemeister interview features some classic Germano-English!

I was really eager to catch Noisia and LA Riots. It was so warm that the igloos began to melt which is quite a switch from the usual -20.
