Hmm, good idea I really like it for exterior rendering in SketchUp--very quick which suits my personality.

Which Princess would you rather ____ with?
Princess Loo

or
Princess Albert

Yeah the 2nd design is def better which is why I've remixed it here into Queen Shaw I--located between the Artscape building on Queen Street just west of Trinity Bellwoods and Shaw Street--where the County General etc are located today. ie, it's across the street from the 6 storeys tall Candy Factory Lofts.

I have an idea: Amish Condos. This isn't it:

downtown Kitchener deserves better streetwall than rubbish like

I will have to channel my Amish memories (oh yes BTDT ) and remix them into a condominium. How's that for inspiration?!

Rewind: What happens when I try out Maxwell Render with SketchUp for the first time?

As far as I can tell, Maxwell needs a much better hardware setup than I've currently got to perform to my expectations.

Benefit: it's commercial free.

New concept I'm working on: BarnHouse. Modern townhomes inspired by Canada's rural roots--you know, those fantastic wood-framed bank barns with their weathered boards barely hanging on/falling off? Proposed location: Waterloo Region.

I'm about to become a developer for real! In Kensington Market of all places

Facade inspired by the abacus used in many markets--Kensington no doubt as well--past.
Inspired by Pedestrian Sundays, Pedestrian Condos plans to keep the people in the streets (and in their condos!) and the cars on the sidewalks! Yes you read that right.

Caltrane74 will you join my '80s used car sales team?

We will surely be victorious over the nimby hipsters.

What if the Brant Park got a new neighbour?
What if it was inspired by industrial architecture?
What if it was located at the SE corner of Camden and Brant Street - Toronto?
What if it was mostly grey?
What if it was called

The White House / Wave by NimbyTect is the 3rd & 4th 50' x 100' x 6 storeys and 20 units phases to this block, inspired by Waterfront Toronto's WaveDecks:

(And maybe a good-looking Ferrari )

It's not perfect ... yet. The block must go on right? Maybe another few phases at any rate.

Do you see something wrong with this "hole in the streetwall?"

I do and so does that crazy NimbyTect 117 to 127 Yonge Street Toronto surely needs an 80 storey "filler" building to improve the lot!

It may not be tall enough for y'all:

But it sure makes this humble nimby wanna dance

800 feet of NimbyTecture:

Time to move on ...

Can NimbyTect "sex" up this design? Suggestions welcome.
July 2014 update: I'm still dreaming about this site. A few ideas I have mixed into one proposal that's still a work in progress:

(I'll probably start over again--needs to be a radical redesign imo. Aiming for about 70 storeys.)

The last two renderings would fit perfectly in Brasilia.

^Thanks. Yes I'm inspired by the late, great Oscar Niemeyer and in general, '60s modern style architecture that is prominent on University Avenue (Toronto.) Oscar and I shared a common bday--so why not continue his tradition?

Dundas U - slightly revised:

In Maxwell:

Also inspired by Uno Prii--Toronto's late, great apartment building architect.
