Lisboa, Portugal - July

Taken on a business trip to Lisbon last month. Hung around for the weekend and played tourist trying to capture this marvel of a city. Enjoy!

Incredible capture, can see some simlarities with Rio and San Francisco. The pic with the bridge and the towers must be the best skyline pic I've seen of Lisbon ever!

Great photos of an awesome city.

I've been there twice in the past couple of years and it's become one of my favorite cities in Europe. It's probably wrong to call Lisbon the "next Barcelona", since it's obviously well known and has its own (probably more notable) history. But in the sense that for a while Barcelona seemed like everyone's favorite city, I think Lisbon can achieve that status. The food is awesome, the drinking is good, the clubs are fun, the beaches are better, and it's still quite cheap.

Beautiful pics and wonderful tour. I was there in 1972 (my Navy ship visited several times), and have fond memories. This thread makes me want to visit again. Thanks.

Wowee! What a grand exciting tour that was! Thanks a billion!

That lacy bridge, was that designed by Calatrava?

I like the colorful street cars!

Haven't been here since the mid-80's, have all but forgotten a lot of this city!
