So today was a nice afternoon in Vancouver to go for a walk over the Canada Line Bridge and snap some photos (The C-Line bridge has a nice pedestrian / bike walkway built under the tracks).
Here is the Vancouver side approach, heading south
A look of the bridge from the south end (looking towards Vancouver). The good thing about skytrain is there are trains passing by every 3 minutes, so one does not have to wait long to snap a pic of some train action
Again looking north. One thing that Vancouver's mass transit system has is the most impressive metro bridges in Canada.
The pedestrian walkway itself mid span with the southbound rail bed hanging above.
And here is where the Canada Line dips below the Oak Street Bridge in Richmond (highway 99). Crazy jumbled areas like this have made metro-vancouver feel larger IMO.
And here is the Oak Street Bridge entering Vancouver (the end of the freeway portion of highway 99) You can also see the fall colours now nearing full bloom.
