There must be some properties of the same type over Manhattan that even go beyond $50M. The price of an entire larger mansion with a yard in Central Paris.
I saw a French documentary about this on Youtube a little while ago. The furniture they put in there is actually even pricier than the apartments themselves.
Lol, they own pieces of art, paintings and sculptures whose values are exorbitant, such as prestige things sold on auction at Sotheby's.
These products wouldn't be just places to live, but rather subjects of speculation. I heard that often, billionaires and monarchs purchasing them hardly ever set foot in there.
It's only part of their strategy to manage their fortunes or the assets of their countries when it comes to old monarchies like Qatar and such.
I'm just wondering how helpful it can be to the economy, which is meant to serve the people, not the other way around.
Of course, developing high-end luxury products is absolutely necessary for innovation, but when you get to this point, it might only be megalomania or the symptom of a neurosis of some kind.

Not the kind of guy to blame on the rich or anyone in particular anyway, but at this point, it seems they should seriously question themselves about their social meaning, responsibilities and duties.
Otherwise, savage Marxism and related violent materialist ideologies might well rise again over our socities.
