Strange how it looks sleek and modern on the west façade, but ordinary on the east facade.

That's a great surprise and facing west it won't bother anyone! Burnaby is really showing Vancouver how it's done. There is also a light feature on top of Escala with changing colors.

And the upcoming lighting feature at the top of the Amazing Brentwood towers.

I saw the Triomphe lighting features from kits the other night, couldn't even tell what I was looking at until I saw it here.

I'll look for it from downtown Vancouver.

Interesting. A lighting feature has never been depicted in any of the published renderings.

There are faint green lines on the twilight render, but it's not obvious it was a lighting feature:

There has been a misunderstanding. I was responding to LeftCoaster's comment regarding the Amazing Brentwood towers.

Yeah, didn't know Brentwood would have lighting features.

Brentwood 1 is completely blocked by Triomphe!

There will be crown lighting in a thick band at the top of the tower. Should be very visible from Vancouver.

Maybe it will bother the Vancouver folks living close to Boundary but I doubt they can do anything about it. I guess Burnaby does not have dumb suicidal birds that crash into lit buildings.

Well, there are those thousands of crows that nest in the Still Creek area... but yeah, there is so much less nimbys in Burnaby, I feel. Good stuff and too bad I cannot see it from Metrotown!

I wonder how the lights will affect the west facing units at night.

City of Burnaby wants a better brand than just being next to Vancouver
