[Burnaby] Gold House | 40fl, 28fl | Completed

Since nobody else created a thread for this, I will. This tower will be a sister tower for the Silver (now completed) next door.

I doubt mercury and lead would be very popular. Maybe silicon...

Plenty of ideas for marketing teams. Or maybe the new trend will be naming buildings based on famous cities. There is that new Milano tower proposed for Brentwood. Could be an emerging trend.

I'm starting to really like the colouring of this one. The other towers along Beresford and the planned Station Square towers are primarily cool colours - light blue, silver and white. The warm gold colouring will stand out against that, as well as tie in with the older towers and brick that's in the area.

Thats a really sharp and well executed lobby. Feels like a high end restaurant, love the seating and wall art.

"Sister" tower indeed, although this one is unrelated to Silver except by the name. The developer for this one is Rize Alliance. Silver was Intracorp.

So this is actually confirmed now? Because the sign has been up for a good year+ in the area.

Rumour has it that this project is sold out. Anyone to confirm this? If so, "Gold" sells after all.

Gold House has been taking non-binding "reservations" to hold the units. They are not able to sell yet as they don't have fourth and final reading from the City of Burnaby, thus does not have disclosure statements. These "reservations" are apparently all spoken for, but again are not real sales.

Ahh, thank you for the clarification. Interesting that all the "reservations" are taken, and that must be very good news for the developer.

I think Polygon's Midori tower has quietly started selling their units too and have sold around 40%? (but these are real sales). Mind you they are all 2-bedroom units at Midori versus the overall smaller unit investor driven unit mix at Gold House.

The Cubic Zirconia Tower sure has a nice ring to it

The interiors would finish arborite countertops, linoleum flooring, pleather furniture, plexiglass windows, all wrapped up in genuine presswood frame.

Copper could be a nice colour scheme for a tower.
