More like halfway between Moodie and Eagleson, so quite a bit of walking from both stations/stops.

It might be louder, although not sure all those people will go all the way to Kanata (or near should I say) for that. What event will be next to move away from downtown after this.

Forgot to mention, I was at the Arcade Fire concert at CTC on March 14th, and the energy was incredible, and furthermore the entire place was sold out. It's a moment I would have never thought would happen in Ottawa.

The Canadian Tire Centre was never in Carp....if anything it was in the former City of Kanata and the former Township of West Carleton was on the west side of Huntmar.

Are you sure it was sold out? Because they were selling discounted tickets in the days leading up to the show on Groupon, which means pretty much that they had a hard time selling out. I almost gave in and bought a ticket a day before the show, but decided against it in the end.

Indie Rock is mainstream and Arcade Fire is huge! It's not exactly shocking that some Indie bands are selling out arenas.

Ahh... I see your point. I never even saw it like this. But as Schattenjager states, they are huge... They're on there way to U2 status.

And we won't hear much of Arcade Fire after the Bear switch to the quasi-clone of Hot 89.9. But BOB-FM seems to be picking up some of the void from the Bear. Maybe we will hear more of Arcade Fire on BOB

Also, late for this post, but it's neighbor island Amherst Island also has a music fest around the same weekend. One of my friends is a regular visitor to that island, not if she went there this year (and if it was good too), but it will be back Aug 7-9, 2015
