Thanks!
Yes, it's a new park called Place des Canotiers. Work has begun in 2015, and the park was unveiled on June 1!

Fling out the flag o'er creek and crag
Pink, white and green; so fair, so grand
Long may she sway o'er bight and bay
Around the shores of Newfoundland

The pink, the rose of England shoes
The green: St. Patrick's emblem, bright
While, in between, the spotless sheen
Of Andrew's Cross displays the white

Then hail: the pink, the white, the green
Our patriot flag, long may she stand
Our sirelands twine their emblems trine
To form the flag of Newfoundland

Just some fabulous Montreal photos above. Really hoping to visit there for the first time next summer. It looks like a meal you get in a great restaurant, full of complex flavours that come together beautifully after having simmered for hours, utilizing ingredients that are authentic and organic. Throw in the slick modern dessert that is the new construction and neighborhoods - wow! Now you might see the chef smoking in the dirty back alley, but it's all part of the analogy, lol.

Also nice to see great pics of Halifax, Quebec and Victoria from DWilson01. Always interesting to see what catches the eye of out of towners. I was going to post a few of my own Victoria pics, but I'll wait a day or two now!

Gorgeous Montreal, as always. I don't comment every time, but I take my time and enjoy every time.

Jesus, Christmas, where have you been? Beautiful photography. Very attractively composed shots.

As much as I like seeing the photos, it seems there should be a limit on the number per post, a hundred per post just seems too obsessive, too many to absorb at once, so I just scroll through them.

There's a "a few photos of you city" thread for that. This one is for full immersion.
