The tall building (transco tower) in the houston picture is 60' shorter than the building to the right of the sears tower, 311 s. wacker. needless to say, sears is a monster.

Some photos from today at San Jacinto Monument State Historic Park

Male Orb Weaver Spider, they are about 5 times smaller then the females.

The female, taken from a similar distance as the male.

Dont know what this beetle was, looks like a specie of Boll Weevil, but he was hunting that little gnat.
