As it is, Trump won't have much impact on the skyline at all. It's sandwiched inbetween the 2 biggest/tallest buildings in the CBD, and dwarfed by both of them.

Don't forget BA, not the tallest, but it will do a good job of blooking out about 50 floors or so floors of Trump to the south...

I agree that it's been quiet on this one, but now that the parking floors are done it should get more exciting!

LOL!... probably most of the buyers who bought units in the building hadn't realized the most of the north facing view would be completely dwarfed/blocked out by the Bay Adelaide Centre... Trump never included BA in their renders........ That's why it pays to be a skyscraper fanatic (to know what's going up next)... True dat one Caltrane

And a good chunk of the east facing view has always sucked because scotia plaza is right next store.... Good thing scotia plaza is further off of Adelaide street or else Trump's east view would be gone...

Peace

***And the thread will pick up once some sort of cladding goes up... THAT's when things will get interesting...

Here are some photos I took yesterday of Trump...

I have to say this thing is getting HUGE... I can hardly fit the thing in my frame... I say it's the pouring of the 11th floor now...

I was bored so I put together a timeline for Trump from the photos I took:

Srry for the first few photos lower resolution because I was using my old camera-

March 27, 2009 (work on the 3rd floor):

May 23, 2009 (work on the 5th floor and Trump curtain wall is going up):

June 13, 2009 (work on the 6th floor and Trump curtain wall is fully operational):

July 13, 2009 (work on the 8/9th floor and I got a new camera ) :

September 3, 2009 (Trump can't fit in the frame anymore... working on the 11th floor):

All photos by me: steveve

Enjoy-

Here's a shot I took yesterday of Trump... Sorry for the crap image quality because it rained so I had to take it from a car...

Srry for the Crap Image Quality but it shows Trump rising... It's definitely on the 12th /13th floor...

Here's some photos I took yesterday of Trump... It didn't rain !!!!

NOW, Trump... ***I tried 4:3 on this one because someone on UT said you can get more height coverage on Trump so it kinda fits in the frame.... I guess it worked

Here's Arnell Plaza (the new one beside BA)... The grass is REALLY green!... The plaza looks like a pretty nice place to hang out at... I was the only one there for some reason (it's usually busy) so it was real awkward and windy...

All photos by me: steveve

Enjoy

Pretty much done the 12th... so about 13 floors...

***So far Trump has only done around 2 floors a month.. Lets hope this changes (the Ritz does about a floor a week)

Hey Guys!

I was bored (again) so I decided to do some really rough sketches...

I CAN'T remember who took this REALLY nice shot but who ever it is I hope they don't mind.... THE PHOTO WAS NOT TAKEN BY ME!

In this picture I (ESTIMATED) outlines for Trump, Ritz, and a REALLY bad one for Aura (just to see what it will block off and the height it will appear at)... (for aura I think it could look taller from this angle but i tried my best )

*due to Ritz being further away... I think it will look almost at par with RBC from this shot...

PHOTO NOT BY ME... sketch is though...
