New Outer Steel!

In the past few days the outer steel on the N. side has broken the ground level! Haven't see a mention here.

It was mentioned that they were planning to do it, but nobody went out and got any photos.

The density of the rebar inside the core is pretty damn impressive. This will be one solid tower, as intended of course.

That must have been what was on those trucks coming in yesterday.

^ What I can see is the metal strat poles are being added to the top of the core and soon the yellow compressors will move up and more concrete will go up.

It would be such a joy, watching the FT finally rise after all these years, if we didn't have to worry about "retail stumps" plaguing the site for decades to come.

^^^ Yeah I have to say that all that talk with the rest of the complex has really lowered my interest in the construction of the FT. Now it seems all my focus is seeing what will be the outcome of 175, and 200.

I wouldn't worry so much about that. The foolishness of that idea will come to light.

Yes it's moving albeit at a snails pace, but it's getting there. "Come on FT, you can do it!" LOL...great pictures!

Why is that piece of steel hanging of the side of the core with no attachment? Seems kind of weird don't you think?

it's hanging over the northern half of the core, which it will connect to when it catches up to the south core
