Yah I always love the people that jump up and down saying we need to cut down on pollution and stop green house gases because we are "killing the planet" when the truth is we're just killing ourselves. The planet will be fine.

If anyone has watched the documentary on life after Chernobyl they would come to the realization that even after the worst nuclear disaster in human history that has made the large areas around Chernobyl absolutely deadly to humans, animals have moved in and are thriving again along with trees and vegetation.

We're very very small in the grand scheme of things earth and universe I think as a species we need to get over ourselves.

Scientists predict that Earth is nearing the Sixth Mass Extinction of Life, due to a variety of factors most of us are familiar with.

As jhausner said, we're very small in the scheme of things of things and need to get over ourselves.

I don't think the human race (except vestigial traces of it who managed to survive) will be around too much longer.
