Brookfield Place, Aura and One Bloor will all be huge.

Dramatic and Immediate Impact on the Skyline.

The rest of the top ten will not have the same impact, as these three.

I'm not sure why, but I just have this feeling that Brookfield Place is going to have the most incredible quality cladding of any major tower (200 + meters) in this entire boom cycle. It won't be marvelous or interesting like the cladding of L Tower for instance, but from the high-res closeup renders we've seen of the bottom part of the tower, I think it will be the best glass and spandrel we've seen.

I'm not sure I guess. Whatever the angled cladding between the floors is called.

A spandrel free facade can be done and I would love to see it Bay Adelaide. It won't happen though. I don't see anything exceptional in those renderings. Large shadow boxed spandrel hiding the mech above the false ceiling. No attempt to minimize the spandrel to just the floor slab (Rbc Centre). No double skin (Manitoba Hydro, The Bow). Pretty standard stuff really.

L Tower is window wall. I don't see this topping the Bow. I don't see this topping Shangri-La or the Four Seasons either which benefit from their residential designs by not have spaces to run mechanical on each floor.

Offices have to leave a bit of space between floors for wiring/Ethernet/telephony/etc/etc still it would have been nice if they could have made an attempt to minimize it.

One Bloor's impact will be epic. I am very excited to see this one rise.

The Podium is amazing...

Hope the tower can match the curves of the lower floors.

It certainly is a massive, imposing looking structure already. And in a good way. I am looking forward to seeing how this block will turn out once construction has been completed.

I know it's getting repaved but I don't know if they can feasibly widen it.

I'd really like to see a water feature on this property.

This podium isnt even clad yet it makes the dingy buildings south of Bloor look like the favelas.

There should be no excuse for cladding the Pizzaiolo building in brown painted aluminum. Just sad.

One Bloor will dramatically raise the property values in the area. A lot of these buildings and businesses to the south, will not last...

Guaranteed the sidewalk will be wider than it was before, might not be by much, but it will certainly be wider as the building will have it's entrances set further back than the previous buildings, with the benefit of a bit of overhang as well.
