oooh ,pipe dreams ,awesome concepts ,i wouldn't mind seeing what the projected costs of some of those buildings are !

I reckon they should go with something a bit more green
something like this perhaps

A tower that can fly, oxygen to water trnsformer thing,a underground city, condos on rails that fly around the city, that cloud thing, the worlds biggest pointless sculpture, tons of tower shaped like blades of grass, and weeds...

Legs are pretty nice, soft and futuristic one. I would approve it. Maybe a water tower... or the galaxy of planets like saturn with the ring, jupiter and so on around the sun as some big 15 sphere glass buildings (planets+moons) together. They have already the the world, palms in water. Why not considering make planets buildings of our galaxy?!

This is a very expensive means to boost tourism. It is like Las Vegas on crack. It's too bad Vegas doesn't embrace some of the architectural ingenuity that Dubai is - or any city on the planet for that matter. How long do we have to build big boxes?

Wow, I like all the crazy designs above and I guess they will get built. New York is already loaded with luxury apartment that's empty most of the time (the owner only spends a fraction of their time living in the city as they rotate the city they live in frequently). With increasing wealthy, some areas of the world are bound to be rich people's play ground that can afford this kind of buildings.

Wow, I like the cruise dock, but I don't see a point to the part that's in mid-air.
