^ I think you missed the reference. The show (like Battlestar Galactica before it) is filmed in Vancouver, and many scenes in "Caprica City" are quite well-known locations in Vancouver that look exactly like you describe: high-tech.

Plus it's a pretty good show so far.

Ha! you see, I've never even watched that show, and they use Vancouver as the most modern and advanced that earth has to offer. Had to be... the city looks good. Very 22nd Century. I'm pretty sure Buck Rogers, and the Jedi Council Live there...

no doubt.

Oh oops! My bad... srry...

Its just that the list is so big and its hard to keep track of who's on what list! (the ten tallest list is easy to sort out cause they'res only 10 of them)...

Whats that least tallest skyscraper on the list so i know next time

PS: Vancouver looks SWEET! Especially the new shangri-la! it kinda looks like the one we're gonna get but a different colour all together!

Valliant, do you think it will make it into this list?

How tall is it?

Last time I saw montreal in this list was when that Sheraton, or hilton Hotel went up last year or the year before.

Welcome back!!!

I don't think Vancouver's skyline was chosen for its futurism but more for its convenience. The show was afterall filmed there. Of course, Simon Fraser University is SCI-FI through and through.

Yes, it's one of the best examples of brutalist architecture any where. It looks fabulous!

Yeah - Epcor needs to be 1/3 less wide and the removed floor space added back with additional storeys.
