I would guess people feeling stressed and not handling it too well. It is very stressful for some people not to be able to communicate in the local language.

I came across this picture of the Magdalene Islands. It surprised me as I thought the entire island was flat.

I thought these shots by followyouranchor on flickr were nice. They were taken somewhere along the coast near Halifax.

Here's are some photos I took of the Chebucto Head/Sambro area back in August:

I was lucky enough to hike the Long Range Traverse with my family a few years ago. It is a truly beautiful area. Western Brook Pond was gorgeous, but my favourite shot is of my dad standing above Ten Mile Pond.

Now for some Ontario:

Finally, I know this is supposed to be about Canadian places, but I just came back from my annual pilgrimage to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky, and in the spring and fall it might as well be Canadian seeing as so many of us head down there. It's possibly one of my favourite places in the world; world-class climbing, beautiful scenery, and a fantastic vibe.

This brings back a flood of good memories. I remember driving up there at 3 am with 9 people in my van.

I think you may have to adjust the settings on the pictures so they are public Tone, all I am seeing is that the image is not available.
