Nice to see a residential project from Goettsch. I like the connection they're trying to make between the tower and the ground with the vertical channels breaking up the ground-level mass. It ends up fortress-like when buildings make a severe division between the podium and the tower. That said, the podium itself will probably end up feeling imposing with those huge bays glazed with fritted glass on the 2nd and 3rd levels coming right up to the lot line.

I think these west loop developers need to coordinate. And by coordinate I mean five of them get together and each toss a 300 ft. development (sans podiums) into a kettle, reach in, then stack them, and come up with one 1400-1500 footer.

Any updates on that RIU hotel to open at 150 E Ontario St.? it was orginally planned to start Summer 2021 but the latest source I found said Spring 2022.
