Three times actually, but I know your experience with the NHL probably started sometime around 2015 so the mistake is understandable.

Actually going back to 1969 it's 6 straight times

I wouldn't be surprised if there are a number of Leafs fans who are purposely forgetting 2013 though. That one still stings.

I'd be surprised if it is six games for the Bruins. Five seems more like it. Perhaps one steal of a game by a West goalie, but that is it.

I don't actually dislike Boston, just Marchand and Bettman and the DPS could solve that for me if they had any brains.

So now the Leafs are in a league of its own with regards to Stanley Cup appearance drought at 51 seasons. Second longest is now the Islanders at 34 seasons.

I hope St. Louis wins but I don’t think they will.

When is the last time they even made it to a conference final? Would that be '94 against the Canucks?

Yes, the world revolves around the Canucks.

98 and 04 since then.

They actually had a nice little stretch of 4 conference finals from 93-04, just couldn't make it over the hump.

I guess it's the Leafs turn now to make the finals.

Toronto, Winnipeg, Phoenix and Columbus are the only cities to not play in the finals in the expansion era.

This is why their 1st round exit really stung this year, they had an amazing opportunity present itself but failed to capitalize. Boston had a pretty easy road to the finals after they beat the Leafs. I'm not going to just assume the Leafs would have beat Columbus and Carolina but it certainly was an ideal set of circumstances.

And to think they were up in the series 3-2, winning 1-0 at home in game 6 and just couldn't get it done...again. Frustrating as hell. Next year is year one of cap hell, going to be tough to sustain any kind of depth on the roster from here on out.

Poor Jumbo, was thinking how awesome it would be for him to play against his old team in the SCF.

Congratulations St. Louis. Wow, San Jose's goaltending just cratered in that series. It wasn't great going in, but it really was terrible. I don't hold much hope that they beat the Bruins, but go St. Louis!

That's what you get for playing with the likes of Couture and Pavelski.

???

San Jose has 14 playoff appearances in 15 seasons, including four trips to the conference finals and one to the SCF. Whether or not they win cups they're one of the most successful teams in the league.

Weird comment, those guys have had tons of success both in the regular season and in the playoffs. Couture has 101 points in 116 playoff games and Pavelski has 100 points in 134 playoff games.

What can I say I don't like their rat faces.

I love watching them get close and fail.
