Very cool.

I stayed a few months ago at the Homewood Suites on Grand and Wabash and really enjoyed my view of Wrigley, Trump, and.......your building.

Is that an apartment building you live in? Or condos.

Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago to Debut in December 2007
How is the hotel going to open? I don't see this even close to being topped out in time. Are people going to want to stay in a building under heavy construction?

It will not need to be T/O for the hotel component to open.

The hotel, comprising floors 14-27

Construction should not be too much of a problem.
I have inquires pending for reservations in December.

Has a high rise ever opened prior to being topped out. This has to be fairly unique, no.

I am sure there are many examples of this but of the few I can think of are the originl World Trade Center and the New York Times Building.

The guy either has a Chicago "all access pass" or a jetpack. Always look forward to SolarWind's excellent perspectives. He certainly has quite an eye for photographing cityscapes.

condos. My brother and I bought in the building almost three years ago. I think many people were looking to get out thinking that Trump would block their view. Oh man how wrong they were!

I played around with the diagrams for Trump and IBM a bit this morning. Assuming they're accurate, Trump is now 2-3 floors below the halfway point.

Wow. That's exciting news.

Has Junior Reb discussed the Trump's timetable as the building gets taller and taller?

I recall him saying awhile back that it takes about 4 days right now per floor ((perhaps I heard wrong -- that seems awfully fast to me))

But when you get up to 800 -- 900 -- 1000 feet, can they work at the same pace, I wonder.

JuniorReb said a while back that after the next transfer floor they'd be on a 3 day schedule.
