NY GUY

How would you rank each of the towers (including Tower 2) from 1-10?

Just curious.

They're all better than the originals, for sure. The nature of Twin Towers made them loved (eventually) by the City. It's hard to rate design on the towers that haven't been built yet, because like the FT and T3, what gets built can differ a lot. But I would give this one a B (8) for office tower, a C+ (7) overall.

I don't even want to get into that debacle. It succeeds in restoring the skyline, I'll leave it at that.

What I will say is that the skyline is growing so much, there are enough supertalls going up to shift the focus a bit.

Yum I love the back side of 22 Cortland Street.

In seriosness, I would love to see the Century 21 block ft redeveloped with a massive tower (preserving historic buildings of course), however I realize 2WTC and 5WTC need to get built first, and there would probably need to be rezoning.

The busy skyline full of cranes.

Can see:

1) 5 Beekman
2) 161 Maiden
3) 175 Greenwich
4) 111 Murray (Although mostly obscure; behind 99 Church to the right
5) Verizon Renovation (Terrible)
6) S. Seaport Pier renovation (Also 163 Front which is to the right of 161 Maiden; where 80 South will rise
7) 151 Maiden Lane (taller tower u/c; hotel by S.Seaport)

In the Distance (JC):

1) 33 Park View
2) Ellipse (Far right, by Hoboken train station)
3) My house (50 miles away in the horizon; far left by those mountains)
4) The Sopranos house in North Caldwell (Somewhere out in the horizon)
