I think most sports fans hate Boston in general. If the Bruins win the Cup, and I think they will, it will be the 3rd major pro (NBA NHL NFL MLB) sports championship in a year.

I don't hate Boston, just Marchand. Well, and the number of players they've run out of town, but then, look at their track record. Only missed the playoffs twice in the last dozen years despite being written off in a few of those seasons. And those misses were pretty close (2 or 3 points in the standings.)

Nice win by St. Louis last night.

I hate Brad Marchand as well, even if he's an ex Moncton Wildcat. I've even heard the Boston media refer to Marchand as a "little ball of hate".

Happily there's an ex Wildcat playing for the Blues as well (Ivan Barbashev), and he was one of my favourites when he played here (on a line with Conor Garland who now plays with the Arizona Coyotes). Barbashev is having a very good playoff season.

I agree that was a big win for the Blues last night.

Fun fact, that was the first win ever by the St. Louis Blues in a Stanley Cup final series. Their lifetime record in the Stanley Cup finals is now 1-13.

Yeah there's no doubt that should have been a called penalty on Bozak right before the 2nd Blues goal....but I gotta say I enjoyed every second of watching the Bruins and their staff and fans going berserk....Maybe I'm just a bitter Leafs fan, but it's karma for all the crap they pull year in and year out.

This is truly the Battle of the Goalies. Biddington is good, but in the end he isn't Rask. This unfortunately may be the difference maker in this series.
