only 124m? I was under the impression that this would be the tallest building out of the 5 already been built. I love the design of the building however, probably be the nicest looking building out of the 6.

It will be the tallest. The heights listed in the title of the Park Avenue thread are wrong. Can't even confirm that 124m is the correct height for this, but that's whats in the Planning Report, which is often not accurate. It says the building is 39 stories in that, but it's listed as 42 on Cosmos, and 42 if you count the floors on the elevation drawing.

Oh I see, yeah I thought those were the correct heights, Thanks for clarifying Shift!

KG Station seriously needs a deep cleaning/repaint or a renovation. It looks like a dump amongst these new buildings.

It's in the plans for Transit, but not until after Central is complete I'm recalling correctly. And they will probably update it to coincide with the opening of the LRT (whenever that is).

Hardly a dump.

It was one of the nicest above ground stations on the Expo line before they began their station upgrades program. The first to have glass walls and a spacious concourse area with an interior convenience store. Also has nice vines growing on the side of it and fronts onto King George Blvd nicely with a large open entrance.

Much less in need of a reno than places like Royal Oak, 22nd Street, and the like.

Everything doesn't need to look new anyway. A bit of layering is good.

I have to agree with Shift, the King george skytrain out of all the ones in Surrey is the cleanest one. I happen to like the vines on the concrete and the vintage style of it. almost all of it blends in with the surroundings, Concords pacific front. Just a little touch up would be nice however.

I think if they re-painted the crown and replaced the white metal mesh with glass or something else it would look fine.

Website has been updated with more details, floorplans, etc.

https://www.parkboulevardliving.com/

Apparently the interactive light display on the tower will be synced with trains arriving at King George Station.

There's 2 videos:

I like how they extended the SkyTrain to Langley in the video.

The horizontal light strips move up the tower when a train arrives and move down the tower when a train exits.

It also says this on their website that I also posted a link to.

That's actually pretty awesome. Honestly a huge group that benefits from EV vehicles the most are those living in urban high-rise environments yet most high-rises and even low-rise stratas have no EV charging and it is expensive and difficult to get buy in to retrofit. Way cheaper for a developer to put it in front the start than to expect a strata corp to have to retrofit this type of things after.

The lighting element looks simple yet nice. I hope they will keep it on and change colors for different events.

The tower itself is simple and I wish it would be 50 floors to stand out a bit.
