Leaving Miami Beach on the Julia Tuttle Causeway!

This is a vantage point that I've spoken of before. I just have to capture it at dusk now without the clouds.

I'm trying to capture those interesting perspectives that wouldn't make a postcard, but are from angles that skyscraper enthusiasts like you guys would find interesting.

I still haven't figured out why some pics come out and others don't, but I don't stress out about it. I just try to capture as many different and interesting angles as I can and then I see what comes out in the wash.

Took more pictures than this!

I took lots more pictures than this, but this is all that came out. Maybe the camera needed more time to charge up between shootings. I don't know. But here, as you can see, I'm standing in the middle of South Miami Avenue at SW 7th street while the light says "Walk" to capture 1450 Brickell under construction at the end of South Miami Avenue.

Miami is in dire need of a iconic skyscraper. All of these 500 foot tall 'Water-on-the-Beach' towers are extremely boring. OBP should be 1,300 feet tall with a 150 foot tall spire.

Miami has a large skyline but it's extremely boring.

Yes, we know! We've been told time and time again, which makes your statement extremely boring.

How can you say the Miami skyline is boring, its actually quite beautiful, and if we get a supertall it will be one of the United States most beautiful skyline's i mean common it's already on it's way.

Boring does not mean ugly. Miami's skyline is nice and big but there is nothing that stands out architeture wise.

And is this a photo thread or a development thread? Because no one here is posting anything about specfic projects.
