My second guess would be Austin, again checks all the boxes, Amazon owns Whole Food now (Austin based), Bezos owns BLue Origin which has a heavy presence in west texas, Bezos is from texas originally and owns a ranch there.

This is such an exhausting conversation.
Austin literally checks none of the boxes, other than it's Austin.
#1 issue on RFP is transit connectivity. A good site is described as being at the core of a major metropolitan region with good transit connectivity (presumably trains). How does Austin offer this?
#2 Airport. Austin Bergstrom is up there with what, Cincinnati, in terms of relative airport capacity?
Amazon is one of the biggest companies in the world at this point. Making assumptions about where it will site HQ2 based on it's existing real estate is pointless.
It also owns Audible, which is based in Newark NJ. Does that mean Newark is a leading contender? I doubt it.
