I figured you, me, and 3 other people remember who Sam Kinison was.

i assure you i am not even remotely as harsh (or as weird looking) as sam kinison.

differences of opinion and mutual respect can only elevate the dialogue.

yeah, vista tower, i'm looking forward to it coming into view from my apartment.
He wasn't referring to you. Go back to the last page. I posted his immortal image getting excited about Vista Tower's visual impact when viewed from Streeterville

This is cool. I'll keep it in mind when I take the next photos so we have a better matchup on the angle.
Shot this yesterday morning. Tried to line up the angles as best as I could but it's tough.

Looks great! Seems there is only about five more floors or so to go on the east portion before we reach the next setback. I imagine the pace will slow to build the transfer/mechanical floor which may be when more of the curtain wall is installed - hopefully the glass will begin to climb then.

Yeah those shots are pretty epic and we're not even half way. I love this tower. Thank you Ms Gang for being a great architect and a shrewd business person evidently.

Looks like it's just about there, maybe a floor or two, but I can't tell behind the forms. I love that the "small" section of this building is as tall or taller than most buildings in the general area. This thing is going to be such a stunner.

Not to be pendatic, but color shade refer to the relative darkness of a particular color (hue).

If only the shade is changing, the glass will be the same color per se, but just vary in darkness/lightness. If it's the hue that is shifting, we may see glass that looks more green while some panes look more blue.

Based on the renderings, it looks to me like the glass will get simply get lighter and darker, not change from blue to green so much.

But when you account for the reflection of the sky on a clear day, how it reads in person will be a completely different discussion. The light panes may appear more blue than the current deep turquoise-y green panes we've seen so far.

Time will tell...
