Outdoor concert featuring Chilliwack in front of Moncton City Hall during the Atlantic Nationals car show and rally (from yesterday, found on Mayor Dawn Arnold's Facebook page). That's the HQ building for Medavie/Blue Cross in the background.

Canada Day fireworks over the Petitcodiac River in downtown Moncton. The memorial to the fallen RCMP officers is in the foreground.

I've just reassessed this photo. There isn something not quite right here.

The trees are leafless. There may be a skiff of snow and ice on the ground and the lady just to the right of the monument seems a little overdressed for a July evening.

Also, the tower crane for Horizon Place is visible on the horizon. This was taken down a couple of month ago. Maybe these fireworks were from New Years Day.

Regardless, it's a neat photo.

Are you right wing? I found over the years conservatives like to come up with nick names and catch phrases. It seems their base feed off of puerile tag lines which says a lot about them.

I’m wingless. If Lego Hair Harper or the new guy - Andrew Whatshisface - were to show up I’d mock them too.

The day that any of these idiots learn to speak without the use of talking points and can give a straight answer to a direct question I may actually support one of them.

Great pics on this page! Looking forward to visits to both Montreal and Toronto in the near future, I'm sure it'll be just as interesting and rewarding as visiting almost any city in North America. Love how green St. John's still is, one benefit of the summer climate!

Here's a few from my hop over to Vancouver on Saturday - Victoria is an arid dessert in the summer as you can see in these pics as I left on seaplane from the inner harbour. 35 minutes to downtown Vancouver is a great way to travel - check in 15 minutes before your flight, no security screening, like catching a bus.
