What a fun thread. I adore the CWE.

It's hard to believe that we had that weather less than a week ago.

^^Believe it or not, the Central West End is one of the younger sections of the city. St. Louis was founded in 1764, so it's very old! For a more comprehensive tour of the city, check out these threads from Jivecity (my twin brother):

The thread title is accurate on all three counts. Well done.

Ha ha... The walk documented in this thread is about 2.5 miles (we walked a big loop along with a few detours). There is certainly no shortage of coffee shops in our neighborhood. Now that the weather is getting warmer, stay tuned for more walking tours of STL with my girlie and me (and a classic Jive & Gasm tour is in the works too)!

Nice mustache Gasm! You should join the American Mustache Institute, which is conveniently Headquartered in St. Louis!

http://www.americanmustacheinstitute.org
Quote:
Enter the American Mustache Institute (AMI) - based in St. Louis as the city is home to the world's largest mustache - the St. Louis Arch. AMI is an advocacy organization protecting the rights of, and fighting discrimination against, mustached Americans by promoting the growth, care, and culture of the mustache.
Great pictures! The midwest is counting on STL for its census results. We're eagerly awaiting some good news. Photos like this pump up the excitement.

I honestly didn't know that St. Louis had a hood this urban. I would guess this is the most popular urban hood in the city right? The units look very well maintained and you can tell the people are mostly well off.
