Toronto - the Big Smoke

I've had the pleasure of living here for several decades with no plans to leave so I'll keep this thread going for a while. I'll try to show both its warts and beautiful spots.

Love them, fantastic pics and great eye!!!

I had a chuckle at the mannequin overlooking the cops. So many stories could come out of that picture. I like the building reflection shots; last time in the city I took a few pics of the pink glass building on King West (near Spadina). It has a reflection of the CN Tower and other buildings when you're walking westward.

UK. According to wikipedia there are quite a few cities nicknamed that. Didn't know that. Probably a lot of them aren't really used, though London is for sure referred to as The Big Smoke.

Phil, I was looking through your Flikr photos. Especially your Japan shots, as well as India. You have a great skill and a great eye. may I ask, what camera and lens do you use?

Most of the photos were taken with a Canon 30D - I've had a 5DIII for the last 2 years.

My lenses 24-70 L, EF 10-22, 70-200 f4 IS L, 100 mm f2.8 macro, Tamron 150-600,and a 16-35 L

Each photo on my flickr states what camera it was taken with.
