Me too. I think I can even pick out Commonwealth Stadium in that aerial. It also looks like Edmonton is now growing beyond the ring road.

I want to pack my bags and move back to Mtl. The charm is just irresistible. Vancouver too, with the lovely 'balmy' shots of beaches in January.

Those are the suburban cities beyond the periphery, but yeah, the urban area expended beyond the Henday... like a really long while ago.

Montreal from 25,000 ft, the eastern part of the GMA.

On the left you can see the Boulevard des Laurentides (Laval), Mount Royal, Downtown, the Champlain and Jacques-Cartier bridges, Longueuil, the A-10 , the A-20 and the A-30 highways on the South Shore.

Joliette and Sorel (villes de 3e couronne), Chambly, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Saint-Bruno, Sainte-Julie.
