I've allways thought of Lyon as France's second city.

Reminds me of Messeturm:

There seem to be a big difference betwine europeans and americans when it comes to Starbucks. Everybody I know refere to Starbucks as "cool" and "exclusive". But most americans on SSP refere to it as "junkdrink".
I haven't tasted a drink in Starbucks so I can't speak for myself.

Yes, Lyon is the second french city even if the municipality of Marseille has more inhabitants (Lyon urban area is more populated).
Lyon domine every french city exepted Paris.

Je ne comprends pas ton obsession avec le café de Starbucks - c'est tellement déclassé et pas bon marché.

I have not obsession with it.
It is a joke.

I don't care if a city have or haven't it.
If I act like this it is because everyone have false and old vison of french.
When I heard some foreigner media, french cannot be black (about 8% of the France resident are black)
French eat only fine cuisine and drink at bistro. (Why McD and Star iare so successful in France ?)
etc...
