^ I agree that 11w57th could be a contender but I've got to wait until the crown is done to make my final decision!

Buildings like Seagram and Lever House (and even Via 57 imo) are beautiful and important markers in Modern architecture history, but overall as a tower I've got to say Verre is the best in my opinion.

111 may get more points in beauty, but in this pageant, there are multiple categories.

They're close, but 53w53 is still coming out on top at this point in my opinion. That may change.

It's like someone chiseled, sharpened, polished, and perfectly highlighted certain elements of the John Hancock building. And Hancock is already nearly perfect. I just wish Verre was in a different area so it could stand out alone like ESB.

Great imagery and correlation to the John Hancock

I don't know how popular this opinion is going to be, but if I had to give a top 5 favorites, they'd be (in no particular order), Hearst, 53W53, 30 Park Place, 60 Wall Street, and CitySpire. I have no idea why I like CitySpire so much.

I complain a lot about the reduced height, but I can see it peeking from the Bronx at least so I’m good goddamnit! Escuse the cell pics soon to get a camera:

Our GSE crew is back at the MoMA Tower only this time to disassemble 8️⃣ temporary platforms. These platforms were used to support a Derrick crane, which was used to remove the Tower crane. Once both cranes were removed, our crew removed our platform steel manually. How awesome are those views from the 7️⃣1️⃣st floor?!

It looks like the scaffolding is coming down at a nice pace.
What a beautiful building.

This photo is 3 weeks old, but I like to post it anyway because I'm happy this beautiful building is visible from a distance. I believe this is the USS Intrepid
