Fun fact: the sculptors were Miles & Generalis, aka the guys who owned most of the Loft District at one point and could fairly be credited with pioneering loft conversions in the city in general.
Guess I have been oblivious... Lol

Such a great building. It's really visible from so many places and just has an elegant feel to it.

I went for a run the other day and didn't get a chance to take a picture, but this really starts to frame City Hall as viewed from the Art Museum steps. It's an amazing addition, but didn't expect it to have the impact from there that it's having. I'll have to bring my phone with me next time and grab a pic.

One of the stateliest new residential buildings I've ever seen.

Stern's Philadelphia masterpiece. In my opinion, this is leagues above any other recent residential addition or residential building under construction in Philly.

I do pray that it doesn't look like a chintzy homage to this city's heritage of masonry when complete but so far I am encouraged. The group behind the construction of this project explains the design aesthetic and it's a welcome change from the acres of glass panels that are the calling card for pretty much any new tall building in this city.

I like that, "I do pray-----", considering who the developer is and the other two buildings they built in the area, I think you choice of words is great. Will we see you in one of the new building come Sunday morning?

From Assembly lounge on 4/1. If you've never been, I would highly recommend it.

It's just amazing how this view has changed over the past few years. Philly's looking good from many angles. It's like looking at a different city. Like a post card.
I love it. Great shot!
