^ Nice photo's bro! Good ole Ridgegate which I would head by after getting off the light rail at Lincoln on the drive back to Castle Rock.

Once they finish that light rail leg to Ridgegate's edge, it'll be a couple of miles closer to Castle Rock. I was slightly impressed with this community.

^ Cool! I really wish I didn't sell my condo in Castle Rock-the cash from rent not only would have covered the mortgage payments plus the HOA but I would have made a small additional fortune (it was a third floor 3 bedroom unit with an awesome front range view with granite counter tops and soapstone in the bathrooms).

Nice photos! The apartment buildings remind a lot of much of what we are building in Sweden right now.

Great new pictures of the Union Station neighborhood! As somebody who has been watching the planning of this for over a decade, it's a bit stunning to see how fast it is all coming together. I can come back after only a few weeks, and it's like a whole new neighborhood each time. Soon, the sound of construction will be gone, replaced with the sounds of people. The whole area is now bustling with people in a way I never remember seeing in Denver before outside of a special event. It's pretty cool!

I think things developed far faster than anyone anticipated. Union Station will be a poster child for how public spending can spur private investment. The public investment in Union Station was not without critics but, in the end, the the economic growth and tax revenue will easily justify the investments made many times over.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing - on the one hand it also took longer than a lot of us thought (several projects on the edges of the neighborhood were supposed to start around the time of the recession and seem to have gotten delayed). But you're right - once the public investment was finally in place, the private development came speeding in faster than I ever would have expected. I'm sure this also had to do with the economic cycle we're in, but still!

In either case, it's definitely something for Denver to be proud of. Thanks to Pablosan for getting all of these photos up so those outside the local Mountain West echo chamber can see!

Thank you. It's a joy to see so much energy being infused throughout the metro area.
