I love the STL threads and I'm from Philly.

WOAH...that picture of the Lewis and Clark Tower. It was taken spitting distance from where my father grew up, in Bissell Hills on the other side of Lewis and Clark Blvd. I remember getting a haircut at the barber shop there when I was very young, i'm not sure if it is still open, since north county is sort of drying up now, my family now lives in St Charles county and the city.
I remember my father telling me that originally, there were supposed to be twin towers, the other one on the other side of the strip mall. The project was put on indefinite hold when funding dried up. The old locals still call it the Lewis and Clark Towers.

What a coincidence-- the great Toby Weiss of www.beltstl.com just did a post on the Lewis & Clark Towers. Here's the original rendering:

What could've been...

That's a yuuuuuuge collection you guys have. I like the shot of the East St. Louis squad car. I still love your photos. Did you guys slow down on the threads for the same reason I did? I actually got bored of doing it.

I know I can take decent photos, but the uploading, and the thread making bores the shit out of me. My other issue was that imageshack was my photo server, and they started charging, so I left. They had a pretty easy system for sharing photos. I would upload, and they basically made the thread for me.

grr... Having a hobbie isn't suppose to be 25% fun, and 75% boring.

i know baltimore and st. louis often have a similiar swagger but this literally looks like baltimore, except for the missouri plate that gives it away. jesus.

What? People in Missouri don't go to Maryland? Maybe they've got family.
