Weather Extremes - Skylines

Nothing dramatizes a skyline quite like an extreme weather event does (in my opinion). This thread is about showing skylines in the throes of nature - and looking better for it!. Please post a photo or two you find showing the mix of a city skyline and extreme weather. (extreme cold, extreme storms-clouds, rain bands, tornadoes, dust storms, etc.)

I love this picture of Boston. You know it's cold when a healthy mix of sea water and fresh water freezes over.

Here's some Denver:

Fog is very rare, so it's always a nice sight for us!

Well, not during, but the Minneapolis skyline with tornado damage in the foreground:

From Houston;
Hurricane Ike - 2008:
I took this (second attempt) as the eye wall was passing over. In midtown we had close to 3 hours of 90+ mph wind. At this point the wind had turned and was coming from the north so I laid on my stomach on a friend's balcony and tucked the camera behind a wall. For my first attempt I tried to go into the parking garage but didn't expect to be pelted with twigs, leaves, and dirt three floors up. What you can't see in the photo are the lights in the office buildings flickering on and off as transformers kick on.

A storm rolling in during the summer;

Low clouds;

Was it Brennan's restaurant in Midtown that caught fire during Ike? I remember seeing the news on a big fire during the storm.
