That list is nice to look at and observe! thanks Cal!

Its funny/sad how more than half of the projects on the list we don't get any photo/news/updates on... (not complaint though ... just an observation)

No offense (i'm not a hater) but the name "Hotel Georgia" is gruesome for a new skyscraper -imo...

Photo of Burani/Lumiere (eve though Lumiere's not on the list)by dt_toronto_geek

Shangri-la/Burano at/near/reaching ground level! Exciting stuff to keep us busy when the Ritz and MLS are complete!
Lumiere needs some serious cladding but other than that it has had some very good progress! (the bare concrete looks nasty!) .. Lumiere is starting to make its mark on the skyline from afar!

Uptown/Crystal by Casaguy on UT:

The cladding on Uptown dirty indeed... Its probably just surface dirt that will be cleaned off once the building is complete...

30 years down the road we'll see a re-clad (jokes )

Uptown's almost catching up! I'd say 8 more floors until is reaches crystal's height!

The guys at Crystal Blu should wait a until Uptown is taller, then use the Uptown crane to remove the Crystal Blu crane. :-)

Oh yeah! I never thought of that! But then again, they are opposing companies and a crane war could erupt!

Anyways... Here's a really cool shot of Burano by Mike in TO on UT:

*Notice the outline of the parking ramp in place now!

Really cool stuff!

It should be a bit taller with this little feature on top (seems to be about 10m tall on the elevation on their website)

Maybe Montreal will be on the list in a few weeks...?

I'd be very surprised to see this break ground next month. Sales are good for a high end project like this however, they are still far below the targets today's lenders are demanding. Perhaps, they are self-financing but I doubt that.

Has this location been confirmed and approved by the City of Edmonton? I haven't heard anything regarding that yet.

You tell me...

http://www.revitalizedowntown.ca/

It's really Rexall Sports that leading this development. Not the city. Rexall has bought the land referenced in my link...

I still don't see any signs that this is a "for sure" thing. This is only a "potential" site for an arena that is still in proposal stages.

Damn... Toronto dominates this even more than the top 10. Also interesting that Calgary doesn't make an appearance.

Where's STAR tower in Etobicoke, on the lakeshore? Of all listed by caltrane I haven't heard of that one.

awesome shot of CB and Uptown caltrane! The stage where uptown is at right now is super skinny! It should be interesting to watch go up from here! And great capture of the little Yonge Street caynon... it looks really cool in front of the HUGE towers behind it! Epic capture Cal
