Yah, mavic makes a nice wheelset these days. I had a set of Ksyriums the year before last for a bit and they rode like greased lightning. I've been slacking a bit on the biking for the last year though, and now that it's cold and snowy, the bikes are stored away till spring. I wish we had an indoor velodrome in this city with a decent bank on it.
I suppose I could hint at what I do, etc. You name it, I've probably had some association with it, any kind of trade, technical/office stuff, eccentric service industries, project management. I used to work in the IT department at a law firm (go figure, eh?(network admin)), and at one point strongly wanted to be an architect, but the shine wore off of that pretty quickly when I decided that the personal sacrifices I would have to make in order to be satisfied with what was built under my name were too great. I may be pulled back in that direction because of my interest in furthering self-sustaining structures. I think it's either that, or a physics degree, a nice girl and some rugrats, and a lot more coffee.
Right now I mostly get paid to watch other people do things, and feel completely under-utilised. The rest of the time I do a little jig with project managers, subtrades, and others to get the logistics all sorted out so we can get things done. It's comfortable and pays well, but is incredibly boring.
