First time I was there I felt it, and met a St. Louisan the first day too. If I recall lots of Baltimore money came into St. Louis during the boom years.

Great shots. One of the things that strikes me in looking at them is the difference between DC and Baltimore rowhouse streets. Baltimore's tend to be more repetitive, less ornate, and less landscaped.

DC's are prettier, but Baltimore's are more unapologetic.
