It's a tiny 600x400 picture of a sliver of a jumbled up version of Pudong's skyline, covered mostly by two people. How is that impressive?

Personally, there are a few skyline shots of lower manhattan in the 1940s that take the cake. I am just too lazy to search for them at present.

A picture of a city looking down from an aerial perspective, where the subject is a plane/stretch of buildings-- buildings set against other buildings-- is not a skyline.
LOL. This is a perpetual beef of mine as well.

BTW, here is the original skyline representation, the one which introduced "skyline" into the vernacular to refer to a city (prior to this, "skyline" just meant "horizon"). Charles Graham, Skyline of New York City", 1898:

Certainly not in the same class as the gorgeous shot of Chicago on page 1, but this was a lot of fun to make.
There aren't many spots where you can get a view of many of Shanghai's 'scrapers in a line...
Sorry about the quality, but it's a large enough file as is.

Here you go. Bit wider and less sky-liney.
I prefer the B/W, though it doesn't look as nice on screen.

Here's one I really like:

I have another one from the Don Valley at sunset that is absolutely incredible but it's on my laptop at home. I'll probably upload it later.
