BUFFALO | Seneca Niagara Casino Hotel and Tower | 22 FLOORS

Another proposal for the great city of Buffalo!
Buffalo Creek Casino

-22 Stories
-$333 Million
Construction Planned for next spring!

I hope they change a few things around but for now this is great for this area of downtown!

yeah i agree that the design is missing a few things. Though you really have to wonder if it will make as big of an impact as issa's tower? both over 300 million.

it creates a destination for the metro rail to expand to. i just can not believe all the proposals lately, and this upgrade is a real serious thing if they get the details right. the price tag makes me wonder what two issa towers would look like.

the images on the buffalonews.com seem to be crisper.

This is a bit bland in its first version--I'm sure they'll spice it up--hope so at least. Otherwise it's 1980's Vegas meets tree stump meets mini gold course.

Might as well have been in Cheektowaga for all the benefit it will provide to downtown.

So where is this going to be located??

This could be a lot better. They should definitely screen-in or glass panel the parking garage so it's less evident and a little more classy.

Right across from Lofts @ Elk Terminal fronting on Michigan.

A few more casino renderings:

Funny, the lounge is called 'The Creek'--- As in up the?

That is odd, very odd. The landscaping/covered drive-up area kind of looks like some Quake deathmatch maps we used to play.

Just think, Issa dropped the news of The city's (and Upstate's) tallests building exactly one year ago, sense then, three (maybe four) new towers have been added. WOW!

While I'm ecstatic that B-lo is finally getting some significant new towers, I find this thing to be obnoxious and barely worthy of the word architecture. It looks like some graphic designer was told to make a 250-foot tall "corporate statement." Yuck.. and I'm glad it's separate from the main downtown skyscraper cluster.

I see nothing wrong with this design at all. It's probobably a rough draft anyway. I'd just be thrilled to see anything at all of height built downtown. I hope no one complains that it's "too tall"!

As if The Seneca's care what John Q, Public has to say. I also feel just as you do Corbin Dalus. After a 40 year drought, buildings are rising. I'll take that height any day. Hell, I'm willing to bet it will look better in real life anyway.
