SSP: London Moderator Nominations

I think we're growing into such a diverse group that it's time that this board appoints a group moderator familiar with London issues who can ensure that threads stay on top, thread titles remain accurate, etc.

Any support on having this done?

Feel free to nominate someone. I'd nominate Wharn if he/she is interested.

I nominate MolsonExport.

I am presently not interested in being a moderator as I no longer live in London and over time won't have as much knowledge of local issues, and I work long hours in my new job.

I'd do it.

...Although I don't think you get these positions by asking .

I agree that the London section should have a moderator.

I have no problem with most of the regulars here being moderators. I'm not going to name everyone in addition to M.E. I'm in favour of because I know I will accidentally omit someone.

Haha, thanks for the offer, but I think we should see if flar is alright with it first. He (she?) has been making valuable contributions and is doing a good job so far. We've also been pretty well behaved under colonial governance from Ottawa.

Also, sadly, I am not a girl

Like Manny said, I'd be fine with basically any of our regulars taking the position.

I was actually going to nominate Haljackey, but that was before he nominated himself. I think our moderator should have more class than that.

I'd personally love to do it myself. I used to admin a 60k member board, and mod at two other ones with 250k and 170k. I stopped those for the sake of growing up, but damn do I love this one

I would say Haljackey or Molson or both, honestly though as most others have said pretty much anyone that is on the board regularly would be great. I think most of us are pretty reasonable people.

I'd nominate Haljackey. Or that Teppermans guy that only posted twice!

lol, we'd probably see all our posts edited to "Teppermans: we fit the lifestyle... of your home."
