Plus 15 (+15) Skywalk thoughts

I haven't heard much discussion here about an important pedestrian transportation system in downtown Calgary. I use the system daily during the week so I have a lot of opinions on it but I'd like to hear from others. Anyone have any thoughts/issues?

- what do you like/hate about the system?
- should it grow?
- is it useful?
- does it take too much business away from street businesses?
- security issues - do you feel safe during off hours?
- is it too confusing to navigate in?
- should it be a tourist attraction - or is it a tourist attraction?

What is the status of the +15 proposed between Gulf Canada Square and Penn West?

Also, is there a +15 planned between the two Bow Valley College buildings?

I think there is already a thread for this.

I personally think they are great. I definitely like to get outdoors on a nice day though. These were debated extensively in university, and i had come to the conclusion that they were EVIL. I now appreciate what they are all about. There is really something to be said about the interior life in Calgary's downtown. It is pretty happening in the plus 15 network; as well as the streets.

personally i love the system. it is just great when it is cold outside. in the summer you can be outside if you choose. but on a really rainy day, again they are a god send. i cant imagine Calgary without them, they are a part of our cities unique personality as far as city engineering is concerned.

Sorry, I looked under transportation and didn't realize there was a thread under another area.

I guess I was looking at the +15 system as a transportation system rather than a building component.

Sorry
