I just can't wait to start hanging out at the Four Seasons on the top floor! The Four Seasons was a "go to" spot for my spouse and I. When this building is complete, we will be there a few times a month for cocktails. I can't friggin' wait!

Also, I will coordinate a Philly Skyscraper Fan meet-up at the bar. I hope you all can attend.

I organized a couple of meet-ups back in the early days of this website. The very early days.

Salesforce is great and Cesar Pelli is my favorite architect, but CITC is unique and beautiful in its one way. Very Philadelphian in a sense, almost like function over form. Not the biggest fan of Norman Foster overall but he definitely has done some great work.

Do it, bro! We will go by our aliases. Also, my wife and I plan to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays there when possible.

Hey Philly Drew wassup? That is interesting! It would be cool to meet the people that we feel we "know" already. Years ago, I think in 2008, the year the Phillies won the World Series, I delivered a pizza to Brad Maule's house in Fishtown. I recognized him, and when he went to pay for the pizza, I asked him, are you Brad Maule? Before I thought he would think I'm a stalker, I said, I'm mmikeyphilly from the SkyscraperPage. It was around the time Comcast was putting finishing touches on their first building.
He made a comment, that our pizza menu wasn't up to date with the skyline, I said I know. The next time I had a delivery to his house, I got one of our menus, and hand drew a Murano, and Comcast building on the original skyline. He got a kick out of that, and actually posted it on the Phillyskyline header page! I felt honored!!
I miss his older website that showed progress on construction projects.

That's a great story mmikeyphilly!

You can count on it iheartphilly We won't do it opening week, for sure it will be super busy, but we'll shoot for it soon after that.

Of course if anyone can make it there opening week, go for it! Otherwise, wait for when we meet up

Only the ones that peak above the clouds get to be called real skyscrapers

Yeah, it's very cool...especially on weeks like this one where everybody is miserable below the clouds, slowly making it through the traffic while cursing SEPTA.

Also, the wind was really swirling the cloud cover around City Hall and PSFS (coming in and out of sight altogether) and between Liberty 1 and 2, I'm regretting that I didn't take some video of that.

Weird that I remember this?

My man Mike at the Pizza Shop here in Fishtown got the memo and made sure the decisive NLCS Game 5 basketball pizza came with the above menu, custom made to include the two buildings pointed out in the critique. That's dedication right there, so to Mike, a big Skyline thanks. (The pizza was great, too -- both that night and for breakfast the next morning.)

Great Photo! I hope you weren't leaning out a window to far! Be Safe!

It kinda reminds me when I see the Photos of Dubai. Where they have those mile high skyscrapers. Nice photo again.

Wow, I'm from the San Francisco forum where we're building our own supertall, and this photo totally reminds me of SF with the fog rolling in and only the tallest towers visible above it. Awesome photo!

Wow. That is one of the most incredible pictures I've seen in a long time. I imagine it being dark and cloudy below the clouds, but work continues out in the open above them with the sun shining down. Plus, the FMC Tower looks great in the background.

Exceptional picture.

This video is making its way around Facebook, I hope the link works. Iron workers putting together the 55th floor. We all know what they do, but to see them in action is mind numbing. My knees were knocking as I was watching this on my couch.
