It's in the 120s here. The Public Utilities Board will raise the maximum allowable price by around 14 cents on Thursday.

Superstore went up to $1.299 today, but all the stations over $1.35 are down to $1.309. Still a few at $1.199.

Run on the gas stations here tonight. Lines more than an hour long at Costco. Everywhere else is busy in the sense that the cashiers talk to you about how exhausted they are, but not busy visually - just a steady flow (I only had to wait for one car to finish before I could fill my own; and I overheard two different conversations about how stupid it is to wait in line at Costco when other stations in the city are only 5cents more).

Also, the rumour is that it's going up 50 cents tomorrow. Mom called me in a panic. It's 14 cents, approximately.

Most stations in Timmins are 136.9 and the price has gone down only 2 cents since the spike.

Prices have dropped about a dime in Ottawa, to $1.20, still up fifteen cents from where they were. I have been amazed at the lack of consumer reaction to this scam.

How can you tell? Maybe people did "react" by driving less and only getting the minimum volumes of gas at a time (say, $10, then you wait).

At least I can say _I_ didn't bite as a consumer - as chance had it, I had several red jerrycans of pre-Harvey gasoline in stock. I don't expect normal people to go that far, though

$1.21 this morning in Toronto. It was as high as $1.32 last week.

I've done very little driving in the past few days, using the TTC more.

Haha, it could have been $142.9! Fucking carbon tax!!

I didn't even look at the gas price when I last filled up so I don't know what it was but it's apparently around $1.219 here. #OntarioPrivileges

Just filled up for 98.9 at a Safeway in Edmonton, plus I saved 5 cents a litre on top of that because I spent $50 on groceries.
