Hey Aleks,

O-14 really is a great building and the finishing is close to perfect. The painted concrete does not look cheap at all

I do my panos with a software called Panorama Maker

Cheers,
Sebastian

Thanks alot man

I just took a vertical panorama of BD, three pictures stitched. Therefore, the tower looks not as slim as it really is... But I love the colors. I did not do any photoshopping, just set the white balance before shooting (personal secret recipe  )

The lighting improves by the day, it will be awesome when it is finished! Sorry, but I had to post this one in large size (only scaled it down a bit from 7623 pixels height to 5900px).

Another one

Those final snapshots are just insane. You have the calm shot of the sunset and then the hectic shot of the city life below.

wow, these pics are great. best Dubai shots i've seen...your shots really show soul and character. these would be great in a book. the Creek photos are great...nice to see some grit in addition to the shiny skyline.

Merry Christmas!

We went to Liwa Oasis yesterday and stayed one night in the Liwa Hotel. The oasis is located in the north of Rub-Al-Khali desert ("Empty quarter") close to the Saudi border. There are some of the world's highest sand dunes there and complemented with the luscious green band of vegetation stretching for almost 100km through this ocean of sand the scenery was just fascinating. Liwa is really worth visiting!

Here are some of yesterday's pics from our trip, more will follow later

amazing photography , but then ofcourse its sebastian !

Funny thing is , if an outsider would look at those kids in your last photo they would get the impression that they are poor bedouins living in the desert ! when infact they come from one of the largest families/tribes .... they have hundreds of millions worth of capital and those camels are $$$

I have a friend who works with me and he told me that his parents sent him to live in the desert as a young growing boy to learn patience , respect elders and grow into a wiser young man interesting stuff
