It looks awesome. I'm like Kenny's Dad though. I can't afford 10 dollar ice-cream.

No they're trees. They won't grow very large though as they're contained within the tree wells.

Lots of site cleanup going on along Hargarve. Guys removing tools from site, cleaning up garbage. Currently tearing down the blue panels with gate numbers in prep to pull down the remaining barriers. Similar to what they did along Graham I presume.

Also just noticed most of the fencing is down along Carlton south of the plaza. Although they do have the crane setup on the roadway loading topsoil onto the outdoor terrace.

Well they only got 3 days left!

I honestly love the subtle nod to Manitoba on Tower 2. Not even sure if that was intentional but it’s awesome.

I've literally thought that since this design was released. Totally with you!

Great shots. I thought TDS would be moving into chaos, but they've cleaned up quick. Even the terrace is looking good already.

Still seems kind of crazy to me they haven't even started to cut out a hole in cityplace for the skywalk.

Looks like they'll be ready outdoors for Tuesday. I'll snap a couple photos shortly and post in a bit.

And ya, is there actually nothing done to enter City Place with the skywalk? I haven't looked.

Some photos from earlier. All of the blue fencing and barriers have since been hauled off site.

Unbelievable. Seriously – unlike anything we've really seen here before.

Looks like there's a few windows that open in the skywalk space which is funny, who controls those?

Open windows in the sky-walk is a good idea. The air gets stale.

An office furniture delivery van was refused access to the loading docks today. Looks like TDS will need some cardboard boxes.

^Ventilation works wonders. Don't think I've seen windows on any other skywalks here.

Noticed from the office window today that the north side has been marked for pavement slab renewal on the sidewalk and where the pavement cuts were made to access the manhole.

There's a ladder in the skywalk near cityplace now... maybe they'll start that soon? lol.

It's also possible they may not open it til tower 2 is done?

^ That corner really does look good. I know it's not the tallest corner in Winnipeg but Graham and Hargrave is in the running for the most 'urban' feeling intersection... it's nicely hemmed in by buildings including a few skyscrapers, and most of the buildings you can see from there are a lot newer and more modern that what you'd typically see downtown... it's a different side of downtown Winnipeg, that's for sure. It looks great.

That corner looks better than I thought it would. It seemed like it would be a small choke-point but its quite open yet intimate feeling. Looking forward to seeing how they jazz it up.

It looks damn good.

Perhaps the tiniest bit too cramped, but damn good.
