Architect Dame Zaha Hadid, whose designs include the London Olympic Aquatic Centre, has died aged 65.

How tragic. At only 65 and with a portfolio growing more formidable by the year, it's sad that her life and work were cut short.

That's sad to hear. I always knew a project would have a good design when I heard Hadid was doing it.

Maybe there's hope that a 1,400 footer designed by Hadid will grace the New York skyline: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/show...88&postcount=2. Now that would be somthing to remember her.

I am so sad to hear this...I was at a clients home late this morning and we were just discussing her downtown project....
I heard when I returned to my office....
